Today 10th July 2024 in Vijayanagar College Vanamahotsava and ECO club inauguration celebration arranged in Conference hall at 11.45 am. On this occasion Eco club secretary Dr. Pushpa K HOD Botany department explained the objectives of Eco club. Deputy Range forest officer explained the importance of forest conservation. Principal Dr. M. Prabhugouda asked students to join hands with the government in bringing ecological balance in their surroundings. IQAC coordinator Ravikiran, Botany and Zoology staff members along with students were present. After the function trees were planted by staff and students in botanical garden. Students also prepared seed balls under the supervision of forest department staff. This programme arranged in association with forest department of Karnataka
