One day District level work workshop organized for the employees support on ” Income tax awarness for salaried people” in the Vijayanagar College on 16th July 2024 in hall no. 12. Income tax officer Mr. Lokesh was the Resource person. He explained all the sections of tax deductions applicable for salaried persons with examples. He also the benefits of filing IT returns and also the penalty imposed for not filing It returns. After the PPT presentation he gave solution for the doubts raised by the staff members in the interaction session. This program was the IQAC initiative orangized by staff club in association with Alumni association of our College. The President of Vijayanagar District Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sri Aswini Kotambari and Alumni Gogga Viswaath Managing Partner Bhagoyadha Motors were present . The Chairman Of College Governing body Mallikarjuna Metri was the Chief guest and Principal Dr. M.Prabhugouda presided the function. Staff club secretary Aryadhamath conducted the Programme and Dr. Sushma Hugar welcomed the guest and IQAC coordinator introduced the guests. Dr. Gadeppa submitted vote of thanks. Vijayanagar College staff members and Vijayanagar PU College and Independent staff members were present in the workshop.
