In our College today 7th August 2024 Blood Donation Camp was organized with the association of VIMS Ballari, 100 bed hospital Hosapete and Cheeranjivi blood bank Hosapete. It was IQAC initiative and one of the best practices of the College. Dr. Somashekar doctor 100 bed hospital explained the importance of blood donation and its uses. Principal in his presidential address said always students of Vijayanagar College are involving in the activities helpful to the Society. Our College Alumni treasurer korishetty Lingappa sir and our College Governing body Chairman Mallikarjun Metri sir were the Chief guests for the function. Cheeranjivi hospital doctor and staff. Ranger and Rover officer Shivamallikarjuna and V V Sangha life member Shivaprakash are also present. The convener of the camp Dr. Veeresh welcomed the guests. IQAC coordinator Ravikiran conducted the Programme and NCC officer Prabhuswamy submitted vote of thanks. Around 70 units of Blood collected in the camp.
