National Sports Day is celebrated in Vijayanagar College Hosapete on 29th August 2024 at 10.30 am in the College Quadrangle. This day is the birthday of Major Dhanachandha. Physical director Shivakumar explained the importance of the day. Principal Dr. M. Prabhugouda in his address called the students to participate in sports in good number and maintain College name in sports achievements. Chairman Mallikarjun Metri sir was the Chief guest in the function.
