The department of mathematics was established in 1966 to encourage higher education in and around Hosapete with courses offering in B.Sc., degree such as PCM, PMCs. Our department along with many number of mathematics in general library of our college for use of students to prepare for degree exam and other competitive exams.. RO drinking facility is provided to all staff members in concerned to their health and hygiene. Class rooms are provided with LCD projector. At present department is having two permanent staff members of which very well experienced in teaching field with 25-30 years of experience. To support the increasing strength of students, department is supported with one faculty staff members.. To meet present day competitive world requirements regular invited lectures and seminars are conducted frequently from well versed faculties from universities, institutes to upgrade the knowledge of students. Most of the students get benefited and are securing maximum ranks every year arid pursuing higher education. In this way department works for the all round development of students.
